I'm sorry -- I actually thought this was a question about whether or not it's safe to flush the water from your fishtank down the toilet.
I must say that if you are THIS uneducated about physiology and simple electrolyte metabolism, then a fast, flush, or whatever would be wisest to put off until you read more.
Read sections of "Prescription for Nutritional Healing", by Balch & Balch. You can cause SERIOUS problems if you don't know what you're doing. You could purge so much potassium from your body that your heart stops.
You can also do AMAZING benefit if it's done right. Then get back on track with diet and movement (exercise) if you can.
Whatever your goal : Weight loss, cancer recovery, poor skin -- or just overall health -- you'll get better results with good nutrition -- alkaline foods in particular. Eat more raw veggies and fruits, healthy nuts and oils, and clean protein sources that you trust.
