Could this be adhesions ?
5 years ago my daughter was very ill with a burst appendix and peritonitis. Since then about every 3 months she suffers stomach pain constipation and vomiting. She also gets an ague similar to flu symptoms and takes to her bed. It is very worrying to me and wonder if anyone could shed any light on this. The hospital discharged her this year after success with fibrogel and the feeling was that her problems were chronic constipation. What do you think.? Thankyou for your help.

you dont say how old your daughter is but i had something similar when i was in my late teens & it turned out to be endometriosis (related to bleeding during my periods). After being dismissed as a lunatic by one doctor after another, eventually it was found after i had a burst overian cyst & required further surgery. This may not be relevant to your daughter's case but the most importatnt thing is to get it checked out. No-one should suffer unnecessarily without proper diagnosis & treatment.
