When you have a really bad hangover, what kind of medicine would you take? Could Maalox or Pepto-Bismol be helpful?

You are dehydrated. That's why you feel so sick. Alcohol removes the fluids from your body and with it your potassium and sodium. Go get some Gatorade. Any flavor---get several bottles. It will re-hydrate you and replace your potassium and sodium. Take Tylenol if you have a headache.
Maalox and/or Pepto Bismol is not going to make you feel better. Getting re-hydrated is the only thing that will help.
