My brother suffered terrible injurys during an accident and needed his right leg amputated,he used to be a postman and can no longer work and he has serious debts mounting up,i put it to him that he should sell his shoe collection which is quite vast,but since then he will not talk to me.
Why is this and what can i do to make him see sense ?.

If your brother has not quite come to terms to having hes leg amputated and then you tell him to sell his shoe collection that he loves its probable the only thing that keeps him going you will not be able to understand this as you have still got both of your legs sorry if that sounds harsh but i am being as truth full as possible. Also have you thought about talking to your brother getting a different job like office work or some thing similar which does not include him having to use both his legs all day. Also is he going to have a plastic leg fitted to replace it because if he is he will till want to own his shoe collection. Just try talking to him and find out why your suggestion upset him so much and just be there for some one for him to talk to.
