Got worms?!


Question:

Got worms?

I overheard that 20% of Americans carry some form of worms and don't even know it.

Cook and prepare food as safe as I can. I know pork tips are, a dark meat, but they always seem lil pink. Even at 425 F for an hour that is a little pink.

But what if I slipped up? How can I tell if I have worms? I have no insurance even tried buying my universities discounted insurance, since I am a student there, but things are tight. So, I don't feel like wasting a doctors visit.

I don't see any in my stools or any coming out of my skin.


Answers:

If you don't notice any adverse health effects, chances are you don't have worms or even if you do, most likely its something like pinworms where you can live with a small amount of them in your intenstines for a long time and not even know it and be perfectly fine. So cook your food, and as long as you feel ok, you don't have anything to worry about.
