Why cant i swallow food?
I had tonsilitis a year ago and only discovered i had it when i almost choked on a piece of chicken, I have not been able to swallow any food at all since. The doctors have told me there is nothing wrong and gave me diazapam. i never took it as it is a mind drug i think. What is it and what do I do. I have lost 2 stone in weight but have lost no energy or strength, why? HELP ME PLEASE.

So, the docs have told you that it is a psychological thing? Perhaps your body is rejecting food in case you choke again.
How about hypnotherapy to 'retrain' your brain and restore your healthy relationship with food that you had prior to your choking incident.
