I had an u/s and was told by the tech that I had a backup in my kidneys. In lamens terms, what does this mean

I won't get to talk to the doctor about this until Monday, but just wanted a heads up.

In laymens terms, the tech should not have told you anything. That was up to the doctor but I think that what the tech meant was that you have a blockage. Now than can mean many things that only your doc can tell you.
