My hands and feet at the bottom are blue sometimes. What does this mean?!

My hands and feet at the bottom are blue sometimes. What does this mean?

I was at my boyfriend's family function yesterday, and his mother held my hands and noticed how blue the bottom of them were. I have had this for years, but I figured it is because I am fair-complected and some of my veins and/or muscles just show through. She works in the medical field and told me thay being fair-complected had nothing to do with it. Now i'm freaking out. it is the way sometimes on the bottom of my feet also. Does anyone know what this could be? Please help. Thanks guys!

Are you a smoker by any chance? This is very common in smokers. IT is called Raynaud's phenomenon.
