Ok everyone...I am a little freaked out?

Next week I am having my tonsils out and I am a little freaked out. Have been told of some horror stories about this. I am 34 y/o...has anyone else as an adult had their tonsils out?

Hi. Im 13 and getting mine out in two months, and im freaked too. If u want the truth, people have told me that it really sucks. My friend's mom had hers out when she was about 30, and she said they held her overnight. But, everybody is different. She said it wasn't too bad. However, my sisters had theirs out and it wasn't very nice. Everybody reacts differently. The hospital likes to do the younger kids first, so they don't have to go so long without eating. Being an adult, you'll probly go later in the day. My friends mom also said she was back at work within one week. So, Good luck!!!
