I keep getting loads of colds?

Answers:

Are you absolutely SURE what you are getting are colds (viruses) and not allergies? Take a look at your mucus (your snot, in other words) to be sure ... if it's 'clear' or mostly clear with a little white, it's an allergy. If it's 'yellow to green' then you have a virus. While you can try 'treating this yourself' with antihistamines (good for both allergies and colds) it's probably best that you SEE A DOCTOR. Tell the doctor your 'symptoms' and their frequency (how often you get 'sick' this way) and he'll be able to either give you a prescription (DO NOT TAKE ANTI-BIOTICS UNLESS YOU HAVE A BACTERIAL INFECTION) or tell you what over-the-counter things you can take to get some relief from your 'frequent cold symptoms.' I used to have frequent colds, due to a severely depressed immuno-suppression system, and my doctor told me to suck on Zinc lozenges as soon as I felt the 'cold symptoms' starting. Now I do that (I still have bad allergies, but treat those with antihistamines) and I only have the 'cold symptoms' for two days. My husband aslo has a depressed immuno-suppression system, but he HATES the way the zinc lozenges taste, so he won't take them. He gets a 'bad cold' while I go through in good health. YOUR BODY is where you LIVE, and you should 'take good care of it' ...
and having an excellent doctor is the place for you to 'start' doing that.
