Question:
Do I have Synesthesia?
I don't taste anything when I simply hear words spoken. However, when I eat certain foods, I purposely think of certain words that make the taste more enjoyable. I can have up to 8 words for one food. For example, the word 'family' goes with french fries with some ketchup, but fries without ketchup=mail. Yes, I know..it's INSANE.
Another thing: I see the days of the week and the months (lined up from January to December) in a certain type of semi-circular layout...it almost looks like a calander. This is synesthesia, correct? I understand some people have more severe forms,such as hearing colors and seeing certain things in shapes/colors (I definitely don't experience that stuff!) but what I have is accurate too, right?
