Bone analysis?
i read a question and it says that she got a bone analysis to see her full potential growth height.
im just wondering, what is the procedure of a bone analysis and does it hurt? if it does... how painful is it?
im only 14 and i cant even stand needles...
p.s: this is really stupid, but just making sure...
where do i go to get a bone analysis?
is there like a special doctor? or just your GP?

the bone analysis is an xray of a long bone - like your forearm there is the ulna and radius. they xray these bones and see what stage of development they are at (whether the epiphysial plates are fused or something) then they measure your arm and do the maths. they only give an estimate. doesn't hurt at all. ask your GP to book you in.
