I have what appears to be a bite mark from an insect on my left calf muscle...?!

I have what appears to be a bite mark from an insect on my left calf muscle...?
The entire area has gone red and there is swelling and toughness into the muscle...my glands are also raised on my left side. (inner groin) Should I see a doctor?
p.s- I was playing football yesterday and had to go in to some tall grass, prob got bite there.
