When someone commits suicide, people say they just saw him and he 'seemed happy, just got a promotion, getting ready to go on vacation, etc. etc.'
Everyone always seems surprised. No one had a clue. Here is someone living amongst these people and no one suspects? Why?
Answers:
One reason I have heard why someone might seem happier when they are about to commit suicide, is because they have made up their mind to do it and that gives them a feeling of peace, like they finally have a way out of their problems.
If someone does let it be known that they are thinking of suicide, it probably is because they are looking for attention and are not really very serious about killing themselves.
