Older kids in diapers?!

Question:

Older kids in diapers?

how many partens have there kids in diapers past the age of 5 what kind of diapers do you use and why

Answers:

Normally kids are potty trained way before the age of 5 but just because you see someone over the age of 5 in diapers doesn't necessarily mean the parents are lazy or bad parents.

There are a lot of medical conditions that are not visible to the naked eye that would cause the parents to have their child in diapers at age 5 or 6 or maybe even 7 or 8.

Especially in boys, their bodies don't always develop as fast as fast as girls. Their bladders don't grow as large as they should for the size of their bodies. Because of this, many boys are in diapers at the age of 5, not because they aren't potty trained, because they are, but when they go out they need to wear diapers because they never know when they need to pee and they might not be near a restroom in order to use it.

That is just one type of condition but there are others that cause similar problems so don't be so quick to judge the parents, they are actually being good parents and taking care of the children like they are supposed to. One of these days, you too may be in the same position and I'm sure you will be thrilled when someone calls you a bad parent.

Good luck.
