My alli? does it work?!

Question:

My alli? does it work?

how does this work and anyone taking it have good/bad effects???

Answers:

I think the FDA made a huge mistake in allowing this to be available over-the-counter. Anyone on this medication needs to be medically supervised.
You still have to diet and exercise. Taking Alli alone will NOT make you lose weight. Let's say you go on a diet and exercise and lose 15 pounds without Alli. Now, you go on the same diet and exercise WITH Alli....you will only lose 2-3 pounds more. That's it. Alli blocks the absorption of fat from food. It has to go somewhere----diarrhea. Yes, it's true. You will need to wear dark pants AND carry extra underwear and outer pants with you at all times. You WILL have diarrhea accidents AND have an "oily discharge." Isn't THAT nice? There you are at work and you just don't make it to the restroom in time.......crrrrraaaaappp. Right there in front of everyone. Please don't waste your money on this. It is NOT worth it.
