I think my brother takes heroin, as I know his friends do. How will I be able to tell for sure without having to ask him?
Answers:
Have you noticed changes in his appearance? If his eyes are always red and his pupils dilated, this might be a sign. Drastic loss or gain of weight are also signs. See if his personality has changed too. If he was once placid and is now violent, or if his grades have recently been declining. If he possesses drug paraphernalia, that's a big clue too. Be on the lookout for tourniquets, foils, pipes, syringes. If these signs are evident in your brother, talk to him about this and tell your parents. Good luck!
