My doctor gave me Valtrex for my cold sore, they were too big to swallow so cut it into pieces PLEASE HELP?
I cut it into pieces and swallowed it, I was searching in the internet and one site said you shouldnt do that to all pills because some are "time release" capsules. Please, did I just screw myself, I'm really paranoid now! HELP!

if it was a capsule then it would apply to that but if it was a pill (chalky substance) then you shouldn't worry about it. Most horse pills, the huge pills you cant swollow, are meant to be cut into pieces. Hope that helps!
