I see "Stars"?!

I see "Stars"?

I have always herd of people seeing stars... however I have noticed withing the past few months that when I blow my nose I see stars... anyone know why? and is it normal or should I get it checked out??

These "stars" are more like specks of light across your vision, right? Like when you press your hands against your closed eyes for a minute? I get those a lot too, especially if I stand up too fast or get otherwise light-headed. Don't worry, this is normal. I wouldn't see a doctor unless it's actually blinding, like a camera flash, after you've stopped blwing your nose.
