How long did your pluerisy last? What did you do to speed up the healing process?
Answers:
Pleurisy is usually a sign or an indication of an underlying disease or condition. I used to have it as a symptom of lupus, sometimes it would last for weeks. It can be quite painful. Look for an underlying problem.
Aspirin or ibuprofen will help the inflammation and pain, other than that, I was given prednisone which helped a lot. Dr's. are reluctant to use this powerful of a drug though.
