Celebrex is one of a class of anti-arthritics called Cox 2 inhibitors. They were very popular with GPs and patients for a while as they seemed to have fewer gastro-intestinal risks. However with time they were shown to have a cardiac risk. Following this some were withdrawn and the prescribing of the remainder diminished.
Celebrex was one of the first of these drugs, and probably the least potent. It is still available on prescription but I would not recommend it.
