What is minor thelisemia?!

Question:

What is minor thelisemia?

this problem is related to blood , haemoglobin n iron....may b i have written d spelling wrong.

Answers:

Thalassemia ( I think that is how it spelled) is a group of inherited disorders in which hemoglobin, the oxygen carrying substance created in bone marrow, is fragile, caused it to be destroyed easily. So basically, there are plenty of red blood cells, but there isn't hemoglobin, or isn't productive hemoglobin inside, causing fatigue, or dizziness. I suppose minor thalassemia is where the hemoglobin is destroyed at a slower rate than regular thalassemia. There are two different types of thalassemias though Alpha and Beta, though alpha is very rare and very severe ( the baby usually dies within hours of birth.).

By the way, is your heritage Italian or from the Mediterranean region, Middle Eastern, or Southeast Asian because it is very common there.

I hope I helped.
