I constantly have to clear my throat and after being active my breathing sounds !

Question:

I constantly have to clear my throat and after being active my breathing sounds wheezy. What is this?

I always feel like I have saliva or mucus in my throat, and I constantly clear my throat to make the feeling go away temporarily. Also, after being active such as riding my bike, my breathing sounds wheezy, or sounds like there are fluids in my lungs and throat. Does anyone know what this is?

Answers:

It sounds like you may have bad seasonal allergies. Even if you haven't in the past, it can happen. The post nasal drip is what you are feelingin your throuat and what is making you sound wheezy. It's probably just a rattling sound from your throat, not your lungs, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to see a doctor, just in cae. Try an over the counter non-drowsy antihistimine like Claritin. If that doesn't do the job, see your doctor for a prescription.
