This mite be a dumbe question but why cant deaf people talk? I mean their ears have nothing to do with speaking or does it please help!!

it's not a dumb question so don't worry about asking. deaf people have trouble talking and shaping words correctly because they can't hear themselves or others. when you were a baby you heard your mom or dad talk and you developed your speech from them, but i'm sure that if you were deaf you couldn't hear them, in which case you wouldn't know how words sound. sometimes when someone becomes deaf later in life, they can talk the same because the brain has formed connections and knows how others talk, but if a baby is born that way it is hard for them to sound like everyone else. deaf people can talk though, they just have to learn different ways, like using computer programs that have microphones they talk into that tells them the right volume of speech to use and stuff. hope this helps!
