How can I overcome my addiction to vicodin?!

Question:

How can I overcome my addiction to vicodin?

I am addicted to vicodin. There is no denying that. In the past, I took them and quit. I actually quit for over one year, and then one day, I had a bad migraine. My gf offered me a vicodin (she did not know that I used to be addicted). I couldn't help it. I got tempted. I thought that I was strong, but I learned different. I started stealing out of my girlfriend's bottle (I know, it's horrible). I feel terrible. Every other facet of my life is normal. I have a good job, I go to college, and I support my girlfriend. I'm very good to her (aside from what I did). She doesn't know that I took her vicodin. I refilled her bottle once, and now I'm planning to do it again. Now, I didn't take ALL her vicodin. I find that I'm able to abstain from it when her pills are really low because if she had pain for some reason and ALL her pills were gone, I'd feel even worse. Any suggestions on how I can do this WITHOUT inpatient rehab. I did it on my own a long time ago.

Answers:

Try to remember what you did the first time you quit. I mean, it worked before right?? Just have some self-control man...

Good Luck!
