Why do I feel so tired in the evenings? What can I do about it?!

Question:

Why do I feel so tired in the evenings? What can I do about it?

I am a 26 year old male in what I think is fair health. However, almost every evening I find my self completely exhausted to the point I feel hung over. My eyes hurt and turn red, and I get a weird numb like feeling in jaw/teeth that happens when I really am hung over. Along with all this my patience wears thin and I have a family to live with. I wake up at 5 A.M. every morning I usually get about 6-7 hours of sleep which may be my problem. The exhaustion just seems bad for it to be from that, although I used to be a big sleeper. I am starting to wonder If I may have something wrong with me, or if I just need more sleep. Oh, naps don't help they actually seem to make it worse. Only a long night of sleep seems to give any relief. Thanks for your help.

Answers:

You're right naps don't help. You need to make sure you get a full night's sleep and also eating right helps. Try taking a multivitamin. Something else to try is an evening walk. Exercise is good for your type of situation and a walk will help you unwind and may help you sleep.
