Why doesy urologist want to do a catherization and without local anaesthetic on my bladder? i am peeing fine.?
i have a history of utis. but all the cultures of my pee come back negative. she suspects something is wrong with my urine. is a cathereization really necessary? i gave her a full cup of urine why does she need 2 do a catherization? she suspects bacteria from my skin is making it look like i have uti.

It doesn't hurt. Matter of fact, they did it to me too. The urine is less likely to be contaminated when they take it using a catherter. I promise you it doesn't hurt at all.
