What could cause this uncomfortable pressure on my lower left side?!

What could cause this uncomfortable pressure on my lower left side?
I am 30 years old, 5'10 and 175lbs. I have this "pressure" on my lower left side from the bottom of my rib cage to my hips, and it from comes around from my spine to the front of my pelvis. The best way I can describe it is like a constant air bubble or a swelling of some sort , and it causes the muscles on my lower left back to be tense.
