Can Percocet cause you to fail a drug test????
i just had to take a drug (urine) test for a job today... and i have never touched a drug in my life.. but i was recently prescribed Percocet, and the last time i took one was 3 days ago... can this cause me to fail the test by resulting in a false positive?

It can make you test positive, however since you took it 3 days ago it may not even register. If it does the MRO will call you and ask if you are on any prescription medication. You will answer YES, then he will ask what doctor prescribed the medication and you will give the doctors name and that is that. They have to report the finding to the employer, but they also have to tell the employer you have a prescription for the medication.
