Drugs like Ativan?
I am on Ativan and I was curious if Ativan is able to give you a numbing affect? I think it is a depressant right? So, I was wondering because I know this sounds wierd, but I want to feel numb I am just tried I feeling feelings like my anxiety is just getting to me. I just want to stop feeling for awhile. Is there anyway this could be possible? Usually people hate feeling numb, but to me that is a great feeling.

Ativan aka Lorazepam, it is an anti-anxiety. It is not an anti depressant. It is a short term drug used for a sedative. Ativan should not be used in a long term treatment. If you have anxiety or nervous problem you need to address that issue. Medication is not a fix-all.
