Hiccups, why do we get them?!
Question:
Hiccups, why do we get them?
i have them rite now, i heard when u hiccup, someone is thinkin about you, is that true?
Answers:
Nah, that's just an old wives' tale. Hiccups are caused by muscular spasms in the diaphragm, the muscle that lies under the lungs and serves to change the volume of the chest cavity by lengthening and contracting, which is how we bring air into and out of our lungs. When it has spasms (happens occasionally just like other muscles in your body), it produces hiccups.
