Should I get 2nd opinion or just live w/ it?

I have a gangliod cyst that reoccurs on my wrist ...... the past 3 mths I have had a least six flare ups... it goes away but just doing minimal tasks will make it flare up.... went to doc and he said unless it causes a anuresym in my wrist not to do anything w/ it.... but it is a pain... swells , hurts to turn it , sharp pains on and off..... Has anyone had one removed in their wrist / was having removed worth the recovery and not having the flare ups or would you rather just have delt w/ the reoccurences.... hope i spelled the name of the cyst right
