My friend has this same problem. One time, he was taking a Civics test and his nose started bleeding all over the desk. Anyway, he had to go to the doctor and get the veins cauterized or something. I think it was that they weren't developed right, or they were dried out or something. I forgot what it was called exactly. I would go get some nasal spray at the drug store and see if that worked. Also, if she picks/blows her nose a lot, that may be the cause of the problem, so she needs to stop and let her nose heal.
Most likely, it's what happened to my friend, which I hear is common. So, I wouldn't worry yet. Explore all your home options, but go the doctor if you think she has a serious problem.
