Why am i feeling all THIS after getting the promotion at work.?

i got promoted last week as a supervisor at the rental company since then i am feeling nervous, excited and i get upset stomach with craps and sometime diarhea, loss of apetite dont feel like eating much and gets a fear feeling inside my heart. is this normal or its anxiety symptoms? do i have to go to doctor or i will get used to my new position? another thing when i am at work i start feeling little normal but when i wake up i start suffering from these symptoms and they just occured right after i heard about my promotion. i need to know if being like this can cause any major problem or do i need to see the doctor or its just a human nature?

sounds to me like serious anxiety. your doctor may be able to give you something to help you as you ease into your new job. i think it's just new job jitters and maybe just new job fears. as i read your question it seemed to me that your new job feels slightly over whelming to you. take a deep breathe through your nose counting to 8 hold until a count of 4 then release through a count of 8 through your mouth slowly. lower your shoulders. this is a deep breathing exercise to help you to relax. practice this several times a day until you can do it automatically when you find yourself getting anxious. being like this is a symptom not an illness. it can do you no harm. in fact you that line as a mantra. repeat it over and over again. this promotion is good it cannot hurt me it cannot harm me. just repeat that over and over again and again. if your bosses didn't think you could do the job they would not have promoted you. good lluck with your anxiety and with your new promotion. i know that you can handle both.
