Answers:

Only if you get caught! The stress may really "do you in"... especially while you're sitting in jail and wondering if or when one of the inmates are going to take "a liking to you" or even worse, "may not like the way you look".

On a more direct note... of course, you will be inhaling, not only the chemical that causes the "high", but also other toxins in the smoke, and which have shown to have even more "toxins" than what is found in a cigarette. However, the body can usually handle a certain amount of various toxins (depending on the toxin) without any detrimental long term effects, as this would apply to "pot." Unless you are allergic to something in it, you will probably not experience long term harm... but probably a lot of coughing from inhaling the harsh smoke.

From a psychological point, you may find that "doing it once" only brings you to the idea that "just one more time ain't no big deal" and coupled with peer pressure from those that you may be trying to "fit in with" will only mean that it will probably continue on and on and on. Whether or not, it may or may not lead to "hard drugs", it does make it easier to justify or make excuses for yourself that may lead into "experimenting" with them. After all, it's "just this one time," right?

Just as someone might ask, "is smoking a cigarette harmful?", the answer would be the same. With some people, they may try it and never touch one again and others end up wishing they never started the bad habit.

My recommendation: It's not all that it's made out to be. Some things aren't worth the risk and there's a lot better things to do with your time and your life. If it's "peer pressure," you may want to find some different friends, as these aren't going very far in life, if they don't wise up soon.
