My dad is 58 years old?!

Question:

My dad is 58 years old?

He works out a lot and is strong for his age. He has been getting a pain on the lower part of his left stomach. Like a bit higher than where the legs and body meet for like a month and a half. He always presses hard on that area. What can it be?

SORRY ON THE RIGHT SIDE NOT LEFT.

Answers:

75% sure it is a hernia. Does he lift weights because my grandfather still has hernia, and he got it when he was young, and he has had this constant pain for 30 years or so. To relieve the pain he pushes against it. When you mentioned that it triggered. The hernia is the ripping of the small intestine's tissue. It is not dangerous but can be solved through surgery. The surgery though is risky as all surgeries. The other two options are kidney stones and appendix. These two are more difficult to treat and require a surgery with very complicated procedures of blasting the stones with lasers and having you urinate the remains. The appendix has to be removed and begins to swell when infected. As long as there is no swelling it should not be the appendix.
If his eating habits are good he does not have kidney stones. Plus those stones are released and he would relize because it hurts to be taken out. NO NEED FOR DETAILS.
Lastly, your clarification of his fitness supports hernia. Most weight lifters wear a belt to prevent a hernia.
So my analysis proves your father is suffering of a hernia. Good Luck to him and tell him Andrew says HELLO.
