How do u know if ya have a clogged milk duct? & how do u care for it/treat it?
i have a lump on my aeriola rt below my nipple & can squeeze milk out wen pressure is applied. i havent breast fed in about...3wks. There has been no leaking or discomfort otherwwise until today.
Help!
i squeezed out milky stuff until no more would flow, it helped relieve the pain but it keeps coming back.

soo, my boobs arent engorged & i havent expressed milk in over 3wks, nor have i leaked, y would it become tender like this after so long w/ no problem?
Answers:
your probably just a bit over ful and its tender. try a warm compress to relieve the tenderness it will make you leak a little and don't express the milk b/c you'll just be making more. A good idea is as little stimulation as possiable
