A few nights ago on The Simpsons, I saw this disturbing scene where Homer drives his homemade float down the football field and runs over the kicker's knee and when the kicker kicks one last field goal, his lower leg literally gets decapitated and flys off his body.
1) What would have happened to Homer Simpson in the real world for that?
2) What compensation would that kicker get for what happened to him because of Homer?
3) Could his lower leg have been saved and reattached?
