Aspirin Addiction?

I think I'm addicted t Bayer aspirin, I crave it and will eat 3-4 pills at a time even though it causes upset stomach and at one point I'd developed tinititus a ringing in my ears, I can't stop. I'll buy a bottle eat 4 then get an upset stomach and throw the bottle away or give it to someone but then in the next day or two I'll buy a new bottle and do the same thing. I'm too embarrased to go to my doctor, what kind of damage could it cause? I'm hoping if I find out it can cause permanent damage I'll be able to stop.

I don't eat the aspirin for the way they make me feel, I believe its just the taste. I chew them. And its only Bayer aspirin. I don't know if its because the coating takes away some of the bitterness of generics or if its just the only name brand. But that's the only one. Aspirin offers no relief from headaches or anything else at this point its purely for the taste. Strange I know.

Aspirin is dangerous if you take more than one a day.

Internal bleeding, mostly in the stomach, is one side effect and it is also bad for your kidneys.

Too much aspirin may thin your blood to a point where you will have a much greater chance of getting a haemorrhagic stroke.
