What do they check for in routine blood test?!
Question:
What do they check for in routine blood test?
Answers:
I don't what the hell the previous answer was about - it made no sense.
There are sooooo many different types of blood tests. It could be anything - it depends on what they are looking for.
Probably the most common would be the CBC (complete blood count) where they look at white blood cell count (indicator of infection), hemaglobin and hematocrit (blood count/anemia) and platelets (clotting) or a chemistry panel where they check your electrolytes, glucose, renal function.
But to guess what type of tests they are getting just by "routine blood test" is too vague.
