Question:

Is my diet and exerscise plan good?

Breakfast: Slim fast Shake, Green Tea, Bottle of Water

Lunch: Slimfast Shake, Mixed Veggies, Celery, Green Tea, Water

Dinner: Grilled Chicken, Mixed Veggies, Sweet Potato, Celery, Water, Green Tea

Exercise: 1 hour of Elliptical



I also take a multivitamin!

You need to incorporate fruit and some carbs. Completely excluding carbs is not good...your body needs carbs & fat like it needs protein. As soon as you go off of this diet, you will put weight back on. Your diet & exercise plan should be a lifestyle change...not a 3 month change to drop quick pounds.
1 hour of elliptical for cardio is good...but you should be focused on working in 75% to 90% of your heart rate max. This is where you burn fat, not just carbs. Doing elliptical all the time will get boring, and your body will grow accustomed to it. You need variety in your diet and in your exercise.
There are a variety of exercise plans I could give you, or I'm sure you could get in touch with another personal trainer near you.
Keep a food journal & an exercise log. Don't weigh yourself every day. Figure out your caloric intake....also firgure out what your caloric intake should be at your desired weight (take the body weight you want, times it by 10 if you are a more sedentary person, or 12 if you are moderately active). Figure out your caloric intake currently by taking your current body weight times 10 or 12....this will give you the number of calories you need to consume each day to maintain the weight you are at. If you are wanting to lose weight, decrease that number, but by no more than 500 calories at a time.
