this is a group i created for people who are victims or know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence. if you are or know someone i encourage you to join this group. your identity wont be revealed. on the site, there are links to info, messages, etc... dont be silent. no one deserves to go through such a tragic event. you are not powerless. if you have kids, that is even more of a reason to get out of the relationship. there is help out there for you, dont be afriad to seek it. you owe to it yourself and your children by getting out of the dangerous situation and giving yourself and them the best like they can have. i am also available for help. just go under my profile and leave me an instant message on an email. i will respond as soon as i can. hopefully this helps someone out there and helps them find the courage to get help.

This group sounds like a good idea. I was abused years ago, mentally and physically.The trauma really doesn't go away. People who have not been through it , just do NOT understand. I will check out your group. i am dealing with some younger women who are going through the same thing that I did. it seems like it is happening more and more, and the abused, as well as the abusers are getting younger.
