Undiagnosed pain?
been having dull dispersed muscle pain in my back. It spread from my neck and shoulder down to my hip and buttocks. It also makes my arm and leg feel very uncomfortable.
The pain is mainly on the left side of the body but i do get it also on the right side
following is a list of test I've run:
MRI of brain, neck, spine, and lower back and they all came back fine.
Blood tests including thyroid hormones and that came back fine also.
Other symptoms include:
-hand tremor
- muscle weakness
-anxiety
-minor headache with dull pain behind the eye on the same side of the pain
-shallow sleep.
Doctors seem that the pain is psychosomatic, Here are some of the medications i tried with no success
painkillers: advil
deanxit (anti stress drug)
muscle relaxants ( norgesic, norflex, and legaflex)
antiinflamatory (xefo)
xanax (0.25 mg 3 times a day)
SSRI ( cymbalta)
am 24, regular swimmer, i love life, been to many doctors who all think am fine

What type of Dr. are you going to? Best call would be a Neurologist. I can't help you but want to say don't listen to Drs. who say its psychosomatic. They say that when they have no clue and don't want to look bad because they can't figure it out so they blame you.
It may sound crazy but what about Glutamate sensitivity? It may be something for you to look into yourself. http://www.truthinlabeling.org/adversere... Glutamate is the G in MSG(Chinese Food...and in almost everything else processed in ingredients like Soy protien isolate, "Natural flavors" carageenan to name a few of many). I went to the Dr. with symptoms that sounded like MS and they ran blood work and found nothing. For 6 years I felt like complete garbage and then I finally found out that something I was eating was causing it. The main thing that makes me think about it was the pain you said you had in your eye. I always felt like I was on the verge of the flu...frequent headaches, pain behind my eye(s), muscle weakness and body aches etc. Its something to check into.
