Is it human nature to defend what you don't have by criticising others who have?!

Question:

Is it human nature to defend what you don't have by criticising others who have?

Hey, guys we are talking health care...the lobbyists are working fast and furious now...maybe Michael Moore will wake the nation up and realize you are being screwed by big med..Don't wait until you are dying to negotiate what they pay for.

Answers:

I have noticed his work and respect it. He is a great man who deserves alot of recognition. We have great health care her if you can afford it. If not then you are screwed. It is not fair for this country to have all of these wonderful advances and waste money in other countries. We should be trying to help those here who need it. If you don't have insurance then you don't get fair health care. <--FACT. I work part time in an emergancy room, we all know that if you don't have insurance or the money in the pocket to pay for healthcare then you wait to seek help. Those who cannot afford medical treatment often end up in the emergency room because they have to care for them. It is so sad to hear a doctor say-- "he does not have insurance, give him this and discharge him", I get to were I want to scream "NO, Help Him!". But the fact is that our medical society is out to make money. The hospital work for claims to be nonprofit- HA--I am not fooled. They will send a patient who has no insurance and no money out to another hospital in a heartbeat. I really do hope the rest of the country wakes up and demands fair treatment. Consider all the money that gets shipped out to "help" other countries. We have our own poverty, disparities and other issues right here. If we could spend that money providing healthcare to the millions possibly billions who need here then imagine the increase in our quality of life! Imagine the thankfullness that people would be expressing, I know I would be alot more willing to leave the country and help others if I knew things here were fair. I have been on the end with no insurance and no money. I have been scared of what is next and ruining what credit I did have because I needed medical attention and knew I couldn't pay. I became a nurse to help people like the girl I was. I appreciate Michael Moore, he has the balls to stand up for what is right and to take the critism and hatred that will come along from those with money and insurance! YEA! him! He deserves a medal. :)
