If my insurance does not cover maternity....?
Can I purchase an insurance plan which only covers maternity costs before I get pregnant?
And if so, how much would that cost (average)?

Not a good plan, although you will find it possible, for an arm and a leg.
Most private insurance plans preclude coverage for a pregnancy. So it would be hard to find a plan, and the rarity of that plan will makes it's cost astronomical compared to others.
