So my daughter has been getting random frequent diarrhea not everyday but more than normal. Cuold she have developed a lactose intolerance? I mean she has never drank milk.. but does do other dairy.or maybe a food reaction? something more serious? its associated sometimes with bad gas and cramps.
Answers:
The causes could be widely varied. For ANY diarrhea I give my kids acidophilus or other beneficial bacteria. This balances the stomach/gut/intestines to the proper environment (you need the correct bacteria and pH). Because of the gas and cramps it sounds like she has the wrong bacteria in her gut. Antibiotics will reak havoc on the digestive tract and can lead to long-term problems
