Brain damage at age 9 causing hemiperesis...could it have also caused attention deficit disorder?
Answers:
As the previous answer said, there are a lot of intricacies with the human brain. One person who is doing a lot of work in brain SPECTRA imaging in ADD is Daniel Amen. I've just started reading some of his stuff and it is pretty interesting. I won't go out on a limb and say that it is the gospel (no pun intended) on ADD, but it does deal with differences in brain images in patients with ADD. It's worth a look, anyway.

(I am a physician and always very skeptical of this type of stuff, but what little I have read is interesting - you need to look at it yourself and see what you think)
