Nose bleed... right or left?!

Question:

Nose bleed... right or left?

I frequently have nose bleeds especially when I'm sick (uh.. runny nose). I've learned not to force the mucus out but sometimes, I just do. And it just fires away (blood).... on the right. It's always on the right.

Are there any lefties out there? or ambidex nose bleeders (you need a doctor)....

Answers:

Yeah... I have a cold right now, and after I sneeze, sometimes I blow my nose and there is blood in the tissue, and sometimes it drips a little. And I always am wondering what that is from!! But it must be the sneezing on the inflamation in the throat and sinuses... ouch. I noticed it came out my right side too..

Otherwise, when it's dry my nose starts to bleed sometimes... or when I've hit my head or something, I'm pretty sure it comes out both my nostrils. But I'm guessing because, well, there ARE blood vessels in connecting in both nostrils, and it's gotta have some way out, right. Eventually, about 15-20 minutes later my nose stops bleeding. I dunno. If your nose doesn't stop bleeding after like half an hour I suggest you seek medical attention.
