I am trying to identify some pills. They look like a capsule. Red on one end, white on the other.?

I have been experiencing severe back pain. I am do for an MRI tomorrow, but the doc will not give me anything until then. A friend gave me some "pain" pills that have really helped, but he doesn't remember what they are. They look like capsules. Red on one end, white on the other. There is a capital "M" on each end, and I believe the number 536 below the M. Anyone have any idea what this is?
