Irritable bowel syndrome??

I have been diagnosed with IBS before so I know what the symptoms are, however I have had diarrhea for the past 2 weeks along with nausea, sharp pains in my lower abdomen, and heavy menstrual bleeding followed by spotting. Does anyone with IBS ever have sypmtoms like this?

Any ideas as to what it could be? I really don't want to see a doctor unless it's necessary.

Sometimes along with menstrual periods comes diarrhea, usually mild ones though. Due uterus is located close to bowel or could be due to hormonal change. IBS as you probably already know can come and go. It can go into remission and comes back again especially after a stressful events. See a doctor for sure.
